I grew up north of New York city. I could not imagine choosing to live in the snow belt in the northern part of the state much less trying to farm there. But people have chosen to do so for centuries. A New Jersey dog-lover decides to do just that and then write about it. The result is a book that is filled with love and humor and joy and pain. A must read for dog and farm lovers. I couldn’t put it down.
